Thanks for the suggestion ! I currently enjoy the Daytona as a dress watch mainly . I have also been. Considering putting my explorer on a leather strap as well

Datejust II with fluted bezel or Explorer II to get that GMT functionality .

hoping for a Datejust 39mm or 40mm before I add one (maybe at Basel?). The bezel looks too big in person for me .

I would suggest something gold. Possibly a 116718.

Thanks. I think the PM watch will have to wait at least 10 years. But I fully intend to get one some day. If I was to pick one right now it would probably be the Smurf .

Advice on 4th Rolex for my collection

16710 or 16700 .... However the Polar is not a bad idea, I prefer 40mm though.

No, but it appears by the title of his post - it's the only brand he's interested in.

Think the polar would be a great addition to an already fantastic collection.

BLNR is ubiquitous/popular whatever you want to call it but not necessarily a bad thing

it is popular for a reason - that is is a great example of a great watch

the commonness is no reason not to buy one

you would not stop breathing just because that is popular would you

I agree with others who suggest a DJII with a fluted bezel or a GMT.

Polar Exp II would fit right in.

I think I would add the SS Yachtmaster II. White face PLUS blue bezel to brighten things up a bit. Either that or a 5 digit Pepsi on a jubilee.
