This is immediately so obvious because the clasp is so bad.

More sinister is when a genuine clasp has had two lengths of generic links well soldered onto both sides.....

Rule nr. 7 of recognizing fake Rolex clasps: If it looks like it was carved with an axe by a 3-year old, it very likely is fake.
