My First Rolex!

Hello, TRF!

I cannot tell you how excited I am to announce my first Rolex - an OP 114300, Rhodium dial. Almost pulled the trigger on a Tag a few months ago, looked at a couple Omegas very closely, and came close to buying a Zenith. In the end, though, I was captivated by, not only the simple elegance and and beauty of this watch, but also by - candidly - the Rolex name and all that it represents.

I've been lurking for a few weeks, and I can tell that I'm already being afflicted by "the disease", as I'm already lusting for my second Rolex (DSSD or DJII).

Huge thanks to ChrisInCharotte for his advice, patience, and of course, the great deal. If anyone is interested in a watch (Rolex or otherwise), I can recommend Chris very highly and without hesitation.

By the way, great community you guys have here. My wife jokes that I've found "my tribe" - people who love and appreciate fine watches, fine cars, and fine pens.

Here are some pics (including one of my wife trying it out... I'm a little scared now that she liked it a little too much):

Thanks for looking!

Juan

Congratulations!

My SDc is my everyday watch but the past couple of days I've been sportin' my OP39 because I like looking at it. Love the dial!

Welcome and congrats on your Rolex! I actually really like the dial choice, the blue markers give it a little bit of a sporty look. Good choice!
