very Interesting. I truly hope the OP takes it to an AD/RSC.
Then we can learn exactly, true or fake? OK I then realized more QUOTE Just an update for you guys, i took the watch to RSC Beverly Hills. First of all they told me they will not confiscate a fake watch, only a stolen watch if it was reported to them. They took the watch apart and told me they would service it they even gave me a paper invoice type of thing with the serial # , the watch condition, ect... . I would assume they can check the serial number and movement serial number. I guess they could not know what they are doing but it would seem strange if even they cant tell. So watch is genuine - I am relieved to hear it - two reasons: 1) I thought it was (phew!) 2) The movement and dial looked to perfect for me Thanks to all a A |

I also found the pics below interesting...
When looking at the watch i took to RSC Service It says "Rolex" and then under it says "Geneva Swiss" First Picture: when I look online at 3135 movements a lot of them say "Montres Rolex S.A" Then Under "Geneva" And then In the second picture is the movement picture from Rolex Website where it says "Rolex" and then Under it says "Geneva Swiss" same as the one I have in my possession. Do they have different movement stampings like that among the 3135s?

Yes RSC Beverly Hills took the watch apart and said they would service it and gave me basically a servicing invoice if I wanted to proceed it would be $600.00

and OP, just want to iterate this is in no way a verdict on you; but you started a thread and its now going through the motions to help you and others at large.

They should be able to examine fit and finish of the case and bracelet and movement with a 10X loupe and tell whether the thing is real or a higher end Swiss replica. And if you do a little Google search, you will find the images of the Swiss made replicas almost too real looking. The movements are made with ETA parts, but they are made to look like an exact clone of a 3135 caliber.

Swiss replicas don't exist, A term used by scam replica sites. Chinese 1:1 replicas do exist.Problem is the 1:1 replicas can be fitted with genuine parts Even the latest 3135 1:1 super clone movement can be fitted with gen movement parts. Scary for buyers with untrained eyes like me |

hmmm super clones are around but they cannot replicate a rolex movement to the trained eye imho. As for all this it's off, what does that mean ?? we need to remain objective here and factual.
To the OP rolex changed the markings on their movements quite a while ago, the 3135 was first produced is over 25 years ago, they have changed the stampings on more recent versions regards

The movement and dial were just too close to a Rolex genuine - OP took some great movement shots, the latest ones especially. - A most interesting and professionally commented on thread. Thanks to all A |

I guess the pics did not represent well or I'm due for an optometrist visit? The bracelet looks very odd to me and the finishing looks poor in the original pics.
