NOS z serial
Hi guys,i am about to purchase a new old stock z serial 14060 with all stickers intact and all paperwork etc...He says it wound up good and is keeping good time.Question is do you think it needs to be serviced being that its been sitting for around 10 years?never had a watch longer than 6 months so i dont know much about servicing them.Any help is appreciated.

In theory, people say the oils inside the watch could have dried up and servicing will be needed.
I say don't fix anything ain't broken, and my advice is to time the watch for a month of continuous wearing, if its off -4/+6 then you'll know what to do. On the other hand you can use this as a bargaining chip for further discounts to this watch.
