Bezel Gap Is This Normal??
Hi,
Is it normal to have a gap between the bezel and case? I have a gap at 12 and 6 o'clock. Also I can press down on the bezel. When I do that it helps to decrease the gap and can feel a bit of a spring action. Is the gap normal and do you have the same gaps with your rolex? Pic shows the gap at 6 o'clock. |

Totally normal mate - the bezels "float" on a ball bearing mechanism.

Normal. Several threads on this issue don't be afraid to use the search function. Nice two tone by the way (can't wait to get mine back from RSC)

Pressing down makes it easier to turn the bezel.

That's good to hear. So all of yours have a gap too?

Gap is normal. What's tough to tell from the picture you posted is that the gap is uniform around the entire bezel/case. You mention in your post that you have a gap at 12 and 6. It should be exactly the same gap around entire bezel.

Can someone show me what your gap looks like? I spoked to my AD and they said it was normal. But just want to make sure. |

Normal. The bezel floats on 3 spring loaded ball bearings and a one way stop which prevents from turning backwards.

Below are 4 pictures - 12 o'clock 3, 6 and 9. You can see the very slight space between the bezel and the case is uniform in all pictures. I hope this helps. |

Gap looks bigger at 12 and 6 because end links have a curve where they touch the case at that point. Normal.
