I just saw it myself. As bad as this story was, it just got worse. He was in civilian clothes at the time of the shooting. Geeezzz

I hope the circumstances of this tragedy are fully investigated and whatever can be done to mitigate the risk of officers shooting their own is done to avert such tragedy in the future.

I had heard rumblings of this, so very tragic. I had been in another officers "sights" before, not a good thing.
