Went out to buy milk and got these instead
So as I was commenting on my 15400ST incoming thread that I wanted to get the conversion kit to be able to rock a leather strap and that way is like having 2 watches lol one with leather the "other" with bracelet, just waiting a few more days to maybe score an oem deploying clasp cheaper than the boutique (fingers crossed)

Looks pretty good. I have never seen a 15400st on a leather strap before. Make sure to post some pics.

Nice!
FYI - OEM AP tang buckle is available through APSC Clearwater. Significantly cheaper, if you wanted to go that route. |

Im looking at a pre owned like new deployment clasp for $200-$400, how much is the tang? How does it looks like? I have seen the tang on a gold RO but dont like it to be honest, I like the tang on the ROO though

Well I just got home and couldn't wait to do the swap at least to have an idea to see how it looks on...I like it! Just gotta have patience on the clasp...at $694+tax (almost the same as the strap, plots, etc) gonna wait a few days to see if a pre owned one comes thru

Have you used loctite on the screws?

I had the technical advisor at the boutique put the plots and strap together using loctite. Now I have the 1220 bracelet which is updated to use screws on every end and just a bar in the middle so no loctite needed since there is no rotation or movement whatsoever on the screws located on every corner of the case.

You lucked in there, going to the only convenience store that also stocks AP plots and leather straps.
In your excitement, did you still remember to grab the milk, or did you have to go back again? |

That looks good!
I wonder if it would look nice to mod the strap to fit the original bracelet clasp. Sent from my SM-N9208 using Tapatalk |

Usually when I get distracted from getting milk I end up with a Big Mac. Congrats.

Everything...tried to go the cheaper route with aftermarket plots and strap, but the fitment wasn't 100% right...so I decided to spend a few pennies more and get it right.
