No, put a rubber strap on one and I have two different watches. In fact I have 4 total combinations on how to wear them

Thank you for all your insight guys.
so...I went to my AD today and tried it on. :-) The jury is still out...going to think it over tonight and probably the good part of tomorrow. While I would totally pick it over the black version given the two side-by-side, I'm just not sure if a price difference of approaching a ~6k hit is worth it. I got a great deal on my original at $8k out the door. I also wonder if it's just a tad too trendy/James Cameron/gimmicky? I noticed that the rehaut "ringlock" text stood out just a bit more (bolder/darker?) on the new one. Pondering... LOVED the glossy dial BTW. My wife thinks I'm obsessing on the wrong piece... Maybe :-D Oh, tried on the YM-II, it also appeals. |

D-blues are very rare so if your AD has one, I would get it if it sings to you. I have visited several AD's in the area and none of them have ever had it in stock so you are lucky.

The question is: if the d-blue was readily available, would you still want one?

You try and buy one from an AD and see how long it takes you. Then come back and say that demand has died down

You beat me to it.....was going to say the same thing. Different dials make all the difference.
There's a massive difference between red and white subs and even more between versions of red subs....meters first vs. ft first plus different versions of each. So yes in the future there will be a value difference between DSSD-blues & blacks. Just how much? Only time will tell.

Unless one is a purist and only considers the black version as legitimate. Regarding the OP's question. On reflection, I think it's not possible to have too much of a good thing so both versions would have to be better than only one |
