To trade or not to trade, that is the question?

Hi guys,

I'm considering trading (+cash) my 42mm titanium grey themes AP ROO on a bracelet for the 44mm ceramic and stainless ROO. What do you guys think? I know it's my choice and personal preference, but curious what you all think?

Thanks and have great weekend.

Prefer the 44 ( yes talking up my own book) but how many $$$ will dictate whether it's a good trade.

Are you referring to the titanium grey? If so, I'd go with ss/ceramic. It was what I wanted but too pricey at the time. Size, is a tough one too.

Thanks,

You should consider these factors
Will you be able to find another Ti grey theme later on when you regret to let it go?
Will AP ever reproduction again 42mm in Ti?

If you wear casual everyday and can cope with the substantial difference in weight, then yes. Otherwise, keep your watch - which is beautiful and outstandingly light.

Thanks guys!!!! I love the watch but love so many others too. Wish I could wear it more often but a little to flashy to wear everyday at work.

The grey themes is too flashy? You are kidding right? Its not flashy at all, except of you tell people what it is it is not flashy, i would say the SS is more even though its also not flashy as well.
What is your wrist size? Not all can sport a 44, if you have 6.5 minimum and flat wrists it should be ok, seen so many pics of guys wearing them and the lugs hang over the wrist it is ridiculous IMO, so see if you can, as for the trade i kinda like the grey themes, and the ti makes it ultra light, maybe think about getting a rubber strap to put it on if you keep it, could tomgo from bracelet to rubber, cant do it with the 44..

What I meant by flashy is 90% of the people I work with would think the AP is some kind of shinola watch (actually had an employee tell me my panerai was a shinola). The other 10% would know what it is and how much it cost. Unfortunately in my line of work I can not afford the extra attention so I try to wear my parerai or ulysee as my daily beater.

Thats why I'm really not sure if I want to upgrade to a "flashier" watch that I still will only be able to wear on special occasions.

I would do it. If your wrist size can pull off a 44 ROO, I doubt that you'd regret this deal. If you're worried about its flashiness, well...it's certainly an attention grabber just like most APs.

As long as the 44 looks good on you, I'd do the trade!

Ok got it
Wow Shinola?? You work with idiots?
Anyways I would do it, just don't wear it at work, in 1 year of wearing my CE diver not even one person noticed what I had on the wrist, and that is something I really like...

Absolutely. The 44s are so nice! Recently tried on both the SS and RG versions.

Totally, I think if you can handle the size, it the best and most badass SS watch out there.

I would do the 44 mm, by the way, I don't think that it is anymore flashier than the Pam. Either way go with your gut and enjoy.
Believe it or not, the 44 mm fits fine under my suit jacket sleeve and I wear it in regular rotation. As far as people noticing my watches, the Pam's and the AP's go undetected, but all of my Rolex watches get the double look.

To trade or not to trade, that is the question?

I think the SS 44 is going to attract attention due to the size and the ceramic bezel contrast.

Have you considered the FC or full ceramic versions?
