Your watch came out so nice! I really am rabidly against polishing. But after seeing what a wonderful job she did, I must say I am amazed. Preserving the case shape as well as the coronet on the clasp is extremely rare after a polish. I would definitely let her polish my GMT once it's Absolutely necessary. Enjoy your watch. Looks brand new!

Wow, I thought buying a watch via TRF was cool; now I know I can get one serviced via TRF

Not to hijack the thread, but Vanessa what do you consider vintage? I'd like to get my 16013 done at some point and wanted to make sure being from '86 parts weren't hard to come by

The 3035 movement isn't considered vintage yet, but depending on the service history, it could require more parts to be replaced than a 3135. Anything with a 15xx or 20xx movement is vintage.

I love to watch craftsmen(women) who are good at what they do, perform their tasks. Whether it's watching a cabinet maker, a fly caster drop the perfect line or in this case someone working with the most minute and delicate pieces and tools. I'm jealous of their abilities.

I understand completely. Vanessa and I have had many conversations about the thrill of witnessing true excellence such as with her specialized skills, our spouses accomplishments and with our respective kids perfecting some unique talent etc. In this case my enthusiasm was contagious and I think she was as into my watch as I was.
