Rain Vibration and cold endurance

Hello thankyou to all who read this . I am obsessing with attaining my first Rolex . Many concerns, are about how realistic it would be for me to wear year around especially while riding my Harley . My bike is vintage ,it vibrates a lot ,and has Springer front suspension . Also rain is another concern, I have about wearing a Rolex ,on a rough riding, vibrating machine ,in extreme rain, and sometimes near freezing conditions . I am worried about buying used so the models I can realisticaly consider are limited . I would like a new 40 mm model am wondering if the models without a screw down crown are waterproof in rain at 120 km and if the shaky ride sometimes even very blunt bumps will hurt a Datejust Tunograph Explorer Millgaus . Etc . I can't afford a new Daytona or Sub although I am interested in how well they operate in extremes . Please help me determine if wearing a Rolex year round and on a vintage Harley is abusing the timepiece or a realistic expectation .

A no-date Sub costs less than a Milgauss. The natural watch for a big old Harley. Date watches are for cissies in cars.

My watches have to withstand the vibrations and bumps through my Series 1 Lotus Elise steering wheel with no ill effect for the past 15 years. As you can feel every bump, crack, pebble or grain of sand in the road surface through the front wheels, this is as good a test as anything. We also get rain here in England.

Imho, the Explorer is the best choice among those you mentioned.
All can take the vibration, rain and cold but the one thing I'd mention is finding a model with crown guards. That's due to the risk of a glancing blow on the crown against hard metal on the bike.

except maybe rolling the bike on a gravelly road shoulder which hopefully you will never encounter/experience. a guy at work destroyed a vintage Speedmaster in that manner.

Can't equal that (fortunately) but I did manage to fall down twelve concrete steps is Lisbon. The watch was grazed but continued to work perfectly (it was a Millgaus). I was fine, but have given up drinking alcohol in the hot sun. Well, sort of, a bit......
