Flip black 116520 for black 15300? Discotinued watch battle
Thinking to flip my 116520 over 15300...
Found seller who sell 15300 finally, but gotta flip my watch to acquire that which is my lovely 116520... I have my subc for daily, i have pam88 for travelling, i need weekend and dress watch...which is daytona's job for now, will 15300 do better? Both discontinued watch... The 15300 is H series, 2012.. Back seal still intact, havent seen the watch in flesh, 15400 too big for my wrist 15202 outof range.. And afraid with the service of AP which is expensive and took a long time. Is 15300 that fragile? Anyone ever been on the same boat as me ? Any toughts? Thankyou! |

Tempting, but I'd stick to the 116520 and sell the subc and get the 300.

Save or trade towards a 15202 instead. You'll be much happier.

Not a fan of the AP's design. I would say stick to the Daytona, as your Sub and PAM are totally different.

I would, 300 is harder to find, plus you have a subc.

15300 is really nice...but I think in part you have to consider whether or not scratches bother you. The finish on the entire case and bracelet of the 15300 is awesome when new, but if you don't like scratches or dings on a bezel, you either have to be very careful or learn to live with it.

Flip the sub for a gmt and you have a daily/traveling piece. Then flip the 88 + 116520 for a 15202!

I've considered adding a 15300 alongside my Daytona, but figured they are too similar in "what am I going to wear" situations, except the Rolex is going to be trusted to be a little more durable.
I wouldn't say you'd be any more worried about scratching a Royal Oak than a Daytona. |
