Sleepy Cotswolds got the first AK, love it! Really want to see more pics too. Is the dial matte or more gloss?

I've placed my order. The new A-K may not be available until year-end, my Rolex guy says.

I like it a lot, the dial has a really original design for a Rolex and the whole watch has quite a wrist presence. Well done.

I tried one on at my AD on Monday and although it is a beautiful watch, not sure it's for me. I was a bit disappointed that the dial is matte and not black gloss.

Yes, the dial is matt, but that makes the marking more clear.
The 5,10,20. ... numbers a printed and not applied, but the 3,6,9 markers are white gold and are the most prominent feature of the dial and love the Submariner hands.
It wears heavy for its size, I guess thats the soft iron core.
In the UK it's priced nearly £1500 less than the Millgauss.
I think in make a lovely understated every day watch that so far I find very comfortable to wear.
It won't replace my Rolex divers, but does make a nice change, and that green logo that seems to stand out from the dial is great.
I have noticed the green second hand does seem to disappear in low light leaving the dot floating arround dial.
If we get some sun today, I will post some better photos.

Cool! Looking forward to some more pics. Congratulations.

Amazing that the basically the same watch is priced so differently by Rolex. I guess they think the average consumer won't make the connection?
