I will be watching for sure, I'm hoping they go back to the roots of the show and do more in depth reviews of the cars rather than playing football with hatchbacks etc.

I'm really looking forward to it. I'm a huge fan of Chris Evans and listen to his radio show every day.

Don't forget, he's a huge car nut in his own right.

I hope they make it 'different' and fresh and don't try to imitate Clarksons TG.

I love the Clarkson era Top Gear and will still watch it regularly on Dave. Some of the specials they did like driving to the North Pole are some of the best tv programmes ever made but in recent years it felt tired, like they'd run out of ideas.

Chris Evans is unbearable, one of the most hated men in the UK, I'll be watching Clarkson on Amazon. He's not a car expert at all, he's a BBC politically correct goofball that does a crappy morning radio show that old men listen to and spends his money on white ferrari's, thats right, this idiot paints his ferrari's white.

The show will be cancelled within 6 months

There is only one top gear and its not the one fronted by that pompous pain Chris Evans. Yes he collects cars and is very rich but has about as much talent as a dead fly IMHO and a head the size of Mars. Chris Evans IMO is quite a tedious bore and seemingly always peddling his own posh follies and self greatness on the media sorry cannot stand him.

This seems a bit harsh? Most hated man in the UK???

Shipman, Jimmy Saville, John Terry.... Let's get a sense of perspective here.

A crappy morning radio show only listened to by old men?
I'm 32 and my wife 36. Is that old?

"Radio 2 breakfast host Chris Evans has hit another audience high, with a new record number of listeners to his show.

The 48-year-old now pulls in 9.91 million listeners a week, giving his show the biggest audience recorded in the UK since the current measurement methods were launched 15 years ago, according to the Rajar figures for the second quarter of the year". "theguardian.com"

Yes, he painted his Ferraris white and then let people pay to drive them raising millions of pounds for the Children in need charity.

There is no good radio shows in the UK, its all the same boring people talking about the same boring things. BBC Radio 2 has been known as the "senior citizens" radio channel for many years. His ratings are going to go up because 15 years ago we never had a mass migration crisis so you can't compare them to the population of the year 2000.

Dig in to this guys background, he's a real piece of garbage and it sounds like the producers of top gear have had enough of him already.

When Chris Evans said "feel the heat baby" in the trailer for his crappy new show,

I love Chris Harris, but I'm not going to watch him when he's paired up with a loser like Evans

I don't think it's going to be anything close to what the show was. It's gone until the three original guys come out with their new show. I'll probably still watch it though, but I won't like it!😑

Clarkson and the other guys could be a bit tedious, but this guy....
How do people like this attract big followings? I guess radio is a fairly one-dimensional medium.
I've seen him a few times on various shows and he really didn't engage me at all.
Think I'll hang out for the other three fools.

Top Gear has been my favorite show. I will gladly watch both this new version and the show with the old trio...provided we can get them in the states.

It's too similar but without the charismatic old presenters. They should have re worked it. (IMHO)

Its because he's a BBC ass kisser, they'll keep ramming him down everyone's throat as long as he keeps it up.

BBC would want to retain the format and it would appear the scriptwriters as well, it's very similar as a result. Clarkson and co would not have been solely responsible for the shows success, tonights show is demonstrating that.

I'll be watching both shows and hope they're both successful.

I was looking forward to something refreshing. I disagree about Clarkson and co, they were the reason the show was so successful, I am sure that on that we will have to agree to disagree.

I agree. I was bored tbh- seen it all before but without Clarkson and co it fell short. Sounds like some interesting cars on next week so I'll give it one more chance but I really wish they had tried something new.

We get it on cable here tonight, probably will have to tape it. I like Chris Harris, pity they could not have merged it with 5th gear and have their team involved as well.

Not sure what the access will be like for the old crew when they re-emerge think it will be a limit cable show not mainstream TV.
