For comparison, I took these shots of my Daytonas. Of course, then I realized I needed the screw down the crown on the 116500!

To my eye, in person, they are the same size.

Glad you enjoy it Rick. It is a nice watch with modest upgrades but ones that do make an impact and difference over the outgoing 116520. Both the new (better) dial and ceramic bezel have been long anticipated.
