18k Day-Date
18k Daytona with Meteorite dial
18k Daytona with champagne dial

Looking for advise on which one to purchase as I am only 18 and I don't know if I can carry off a president!

Right now you're just 'fronting', as we say. :P In any event, I'm sure you'll be able to get all the watches you want, so just get whichever sings to you
You need money to make money! The more you have to start off with the better your chances are. I have earned it mostly because I had the chance to go to an elite bording school in England where everyone was free and easy with their money and hence I saw ways of helping them unload their immense wealth and unburden themselves

Right - I was just saying, don't pretend you earned it. It's a little disrespectful to people (probably your parents) who built wealth through actual work, and character, like most people on this forum.

It's just a small headsup is all. Posting about Saville Row suits, and Dom Perignon is not impressive when it's essentially just been handed to you on a plate. Surely you don't expect people here to believe that between the ages of 15 and 18 you amassed a small fortune "playing the stock market", oh, and your parents just happen to be rich.

It's just a small 'tick' I have with rich kids, always pretending to be successful, basically emulating something they're not, undeserved opportunities handed to them on a plate. This is the reason we have millionaire politicians - people who are essentially completely detached from reality.

Maybe you're not like that all - I'm not one to make blanket statements, however you have given just about everyone here just cause to believe the former. This is a watch forum, however, and I've gone way off-topic; and for that, I apologize. :)

I am sorry, but to be honest, those are some of the things I am used to that I would not be able to afford if I spent all my money on watches.

Yes, I am more well-off than most people my age, but that is purely due to chance and luck but I have earned the majority of it and have to use my money wisely as well as I don't have enough to satisfy my every whim. I saw an oppertunity and grabbed it, is there anything wrong with that?

And, I never said my parents were rich but just that they were comfortably off.

Anyway, Why should it matter to you if I made my money or am living off my parents wealth?

Hey - well done .

I'd say definitely go for the YG Day-Date - it's got to be the ultimate dress watch and you'll look great wearing it .

I guess it really comes down to whether you need or want the date complication on the watch. Some would argue that the refined gentleman does not need to know what the date is. Obviosly, I'm not in that camp.

After reading your reply about a dress watch.
Then I would say go with a W/G or even a Platinum DD. It must be the ultimate Rolex dress watch.
Or as you have stated above wait for the DD II.
