Guesses on SS DJ41 announcement?

A local AD received their first DJ41 last night and I was lucky enough to be the first to try it on. What a watch! This is the first TT that I could zealously wear. Such a beauty.

As nice as it is I'd prefer a stainless steel version with a smooth bezel.

When do you expect Rolex will announce a stainless steel Datejust 41? In one year? Two years? Three?

Any pics of the clasp? How did it look in person with the claps now they have moved away from the concealed version?

It looks good enough, but I was expecting an Easylink extension and it doesn't have one! I thought that was the whole point of moving to this style clasp. Looked like one micro-adjustment.

I tried the new DJ41 at Heathrow T5 a couple of weeks ago, and played with its easylink extension....

I spy a beautiful serif on the date under that cyclops. Something I didn't notice before...

I assume it'd be at Baselworld, but the question is: what year?

Tried on the exact model at my AD last week and was extremely happy with the fit and look! Could absolutely be on my list. Hopeful to get the RG brown dial when it comes in:)

If there is to be one, I would say next year. Or the year after.

Well this is not really a new model now, it will just be in SS, and so they could be released at any time, such as the Deep Blue, TBB Noir bezel and black and pink dials on RG Ceramic Daytona, but next Basel is most likely.

I wonder if a DJ41 in SS will offer a Jubilee bracelet as an option. They may limit the Jubilee to two tone models.

Guesses on SS DJ41 announcement?

My guess is that a SS DJ41 debuts after 4 quarters of SS DJ sales decline.
The SS DJ is still a corporate favorite for recognition awards. (accomplishments like sales, service tenure, etc.)

It is interesting that they offered the TT first; I guess that means that is where the market is in DJs. I can't imagine any other reason for them to do that.

Doesn't that usually seem to be the cycle though? First they release a new model in Precious metal (if applicable), then two-tone (again if applicable), then SS?

Happened with all the ceramic refreshes (Submariner, GMT, Daytona I think, etc.)

So I'm hoping they do SS next year since I had a blue DJII on the "buy" list for this year in steel. But I definitely want Jubilee.

And since it's the "return" of the Jubilee, maybe we'll see it for the sport models? How cool would it be for them to do a SS Coke GMT w/Jubilee bracelet next Basel?
