the mechanism itself is pretty complex & fascinating...on the other hand, the hand-cranking process would be a tad slow for a fast-paced restaurant environment.
in the event/case of an older vintage red Bordeaux, this machine might have some issues extracting a crumbly cork + there is no decanting process prior to the pouring stage. interesting 'novelty' piece...btw, where would you store/place it if intended for home use/entertainment? it looks pretty cumbersome. |
