Daytona Diameter

Hi guys, my first question in this forum.
What is the real diameter of the Daytona? Rolex is saying it is 40 mm but I heard that is is only 38.5 mm.
The reason I am asking is, I own 2 AP Royal Oak Offshore and a Sub,
the APs are 42 mm and wear big. The Ceramic Sub is a little over 40 mm. I am on the list for a new white Daytona which I could get next week. 38.5 mm is really small.
Anybody has an answer for me?

It's a couple of mm smaller than it should be.

Just my personal opinion.

Depends on metal. The Platinum Daytona is bigger than the Stainless ones.

Agree. I'm still curious to see if the new one wears just as small.
