Two Tone everose vs yellow gold

Hi. I am in the market for a 2 tone 36mm Datejust. But I am undecided whether I should go for SS + Yellow Gold or SS + Everose Gold.

The Everose is slightly more expensive. USD 500 to 600 more, I think.

I have put both on my wrist at 2 different ADs. First AD said SS + Yellow Gold on me is "just not me". 2nd AD gave a general comment that YG makes the person look older while the Everose is relatively more "youthful". I am in my mid 40s.

I see 2 tone yellow gold datejust all the time in the wild. But I don't think i have seen a 2 tone everose datejust in the wild.

So it can't be denied that the YG 2 tone remains more popular.

Any thoughts on this? Thank you.

Try it on.. Not sure about the age with a kind of gold but to me it's about skin tone.

Can't go wrong here. Both great choices. I went with yellow gold, but would be just as happy with rose gold

In my opinion, your skin tone affects how the watch will look with either gold!

Both look great but I prefer YG. Matches the wedding band.

I've had both and honestly can say one is not going to make you look older than the other.

As others have said, it's more about skin tone...as well as the watch itself. A RG YM2 is going to look sportier (and therefore a little 'younger') than a RG DJ.

In the end, they're both really nice and you just gotta figure out which one you want on your wrist. If you don't know, back off and let it come to you...don't force it.
