I usually drink Dommelsch or Hertog Jan. Ice and ice cold (yes, this suppresses the flavour) and they make an excellent companion while you are slappin' pieces of dead cow on the grill

i am actually on a bit of a diet at the moment too. After studying for exams and eating from boredom and two holidays of non stop eating, i was starting to wobble a bit too much when i walked

but i am getting back to normal

i am 1.80 too and about 91 or 92 kg want to get back to about 85-87 hopefully

Anyone interested in the original topic would enjoy a book I read a few months ago: A History of the World in Six Glasses.

Tells the story of how cultivation of grain in and around Mesopotamia prompted formation of early civilizations, and the discovery of beer and bread (apparently by accident, as the earliest brewmeisters would dissolve the grain into a paste...too thin and out in the sun = beer; too thick and out in the sun = bread). Also talks about how the quest for tea and coffee led to exploration, shipping routes, and ultimately discovery, imperialism, and mapping of the sea; also has an interesting discussion of the political influence of coffee houses and tea houses during the enlightenment age.

You know, not as interesting as Maxim, but a good read.
