Which one to wear on USA road trip?

I will be spending my vacation in the USA again. This time it will be a tour/roadtrip from Chicago to New Orleans, visiting Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis and some other music related sites As usual I will only take on higher end watch and this time I have trouble deciding. For different time zone and date BLNR would be great, Explorer is perfectly under the radar and as we will be in water at some points, the SubC no date could do it's job. I will only bring one as I would worry too much about leaving the others in hotels and travel with them. What would you do?

BLNR. Set the dial to local time and the GMT to your home town time. Happy travels.

The explorer often seems to be the underdog! I think explorer for exploring is also a great idea . It may also be nice to have a more understated watch incase you find yourself in any sketchy areas.

Both are equally good. If i were you, i would hook on a Rubber B on my explorer or a Nato strap on the sub. Cheers

BLNR IMO, has a date and can track your home time zone. Have a great trip!

A GMT is a travel watch.

Take the BLNR.

Any of them will work fine. Seems to me that the whole purpose of the GMT is to have two time zones, so why not wear it in case you need to call home?

Enjoy the trip, you will find lots of great things to see and do. Don't forget to constantly express your opinion of our ridiculous presidential campaign to everyone that you meet.

:)

Between the BLNR and the EXP.

Slight nod to the BLNR for the time zone tracker.

You need to be careful wherever you go. Let's not scare a visitor into thinking the entire Midwest is dangerous! ;)

If only one, then the BLNR. I will say that all of these places are as safe as anywhere on this planet. You can also find trouble in just about anywhere as well. I personally would bring more than one. IMHO, insurance premiums are for piece of mind and enjoying my watches.

No date sub doesn't seem to make much sense. Explorer doesn't either. For me, I'd do GMT. Can keep track of times and date.

BLNR gets my vote. You will be fine in the big cities. Just be careful when you are driving in between these cities. You will have to stop in some deserted areas for food and gas.

Thanks for all the advice! Still hard to decide. I just put the bracelet of the sub on the BLNR and that seems a winning combo for the moment!

My vote goes to the obvious choice - the BLNR! Have fun here in the States - it sounds like you're going to see more major cities here than I ever have!

Yep!

Another alternative (and my preference) is to leave the GMT hand on GMT time, and rotate the bezel to your home time. The Netherlands is GMT +2, so put the "2" on the bezel at the 12 o'clock marker. And when you do this, take a moment to enjoy the smooth action of that sweet, sweet bezel. This way you also get to enjoy the day/night colors to tell you what it looks like back home.

Enjoy your trip in the States and do post pictures of your selection throughout your travels.

Under the radar is never a bad choice. I like the Sub for the road trip.
