Do a quick ebay search for Tumi messenger bags. There were several when I looked. This one caught my eye.

If you want worn, you can always drag it behind your bike for a day or two.

I have one myself - top notch leather and craftsmanship. A bargain for what you get, really!

Been using Filson bags for as long as I can remember. We use them for EDC as well as fly fishing excursions from the Rockies to Alaska down to the Florida Keys. Have yet to tear one up. Pricey, but you only buy them once.

Here's my pennies worth since I have debated this a few times.

A bag/satchel would be useful day to day. I have a wallet I have to carry and can't put in my pocket. In the back pocket it looks like I pooped and the side looks like a tumor. I found a nice LV one and went and looked at it. It solved all my problems. It was black and perfect. In the end I couldn't do it because I felt weird with it on. I bear no judgement against anyone who uses one. Old silliness in my head prevents me...

I'm not a fan of Saddleback. Belstaff bag mentioned is more of a fashion bag. Looks rugged and cool but very flimsy in real life. I highly recommend Defy bags. I've had several. Bad ass and very well made.

I think its stunning, I ended up picking up the Victorinox today since my sister got me an additional 30% off. Ya'll are the worst advice givers ever haha, have me about ready to sell a watch to fund a messenger bag purchase

The victorinox feels great on the bike which is the big thing, I also stopped at fossil to check out the leather ones, they were all very nice, and in ny price range, but the weight difference between fabric and leather was quite a bit. Seemed like the leather bags alone weighed 5 pounds empty. Plus the bonus of it matching my current luggage kind of sealed the deal. I definitely plan on upgrading already though, not sure if Tumi, Saddleback, or save up and buy a used Louis. Having empty pockets feels great, and I've really wanted to stop caring my cell phone because of the radioactivity(call me paranoid but it can't be healthy!). Plus my girlfriend said it looks very professional to boot.

I really appreciate all the input. I kinda just jumped into the victorinox today, seems great for everyday. But you guys are showing me what I really want, just going to need a bigger budget for the next one.
