Flip Daytona for 2 Submariners?

Hey guys, since the value of the Daytona 116520 seems to have gone up I was wondering if it might be worth flipping the Dayto for two Subs. One contemporary 114060 and a vintage 5513?

I was thinking of flipping my Daytona for two Explorers (I & II). Some have told me don't do it. But I don't know why not. So I watch this thread with interest.

5513 could be worth a lot depending on age and condition!

Which subs are involved please ?
The 116520 value went up, that's a good news for the owners?

Definitely do it. I flipped mine +$ for a hulk and Pam 372 and I couldn't be happier.

Let's get something straight here - is this an offer you've received for your watch already, or something you're hoping for?

To the OP: If it's gonna put a bigger smile on your face than the Daytona does, go for it!!!

I'm in a similar situation as well. I'm seriously considering flipping my white dial 116520 for a 16710 and a 214270.

I think that's pretty much the only watch I'd give up my 16710 and 114060 for lol.
I say go for it...

Yes. And the 116520's I have seen have not been going up in value but I guess it is all about what you paid.

For those 2 yeah, and then buy a D500 when prices calm down.

I can think of all kinds of combos I'd flip a Daytona for. If I owned one.

I'd do that trade, no question. However, I'm a bit biased towards Subs and am not in love win the Daytona in any form.

The models involved aside, two pieces are more enjoyable to me personally than only having one.

I would keep the 116520 as it is currently the only Rolex I regret selling. However if it will make you happier go for it !
