rolex sea dweller

Question, did rolex produce an M-serial sea dweller or did it end with the z-serial , if it did produce an M-serial does it have the engraved inner bezel like the other updated models? I am thinking about getting one of the older models before the deap sea is introduced, after all , when they are all gone I believe they will be saught after but I may be wrong . Thanks much , Randy

The M serial apparently will be the last SD serial and they are out now. No SD has the RBR (engrave inner bezel) including the M.

Thanks much for the information, a salesperson in atlanta, ga had told me that the m-serial had the engraved innner bezel , what is the RBR - I may be off on the lingo but i am just learning more about rolex. Also, would you put the money toward a z-serial or would you hold out for the deap sea model?

WELCOME TO TRF...

I think SD still don't have RBR in M series.

We have not had any reports on the forum of an SD with the engraved rehaut although many have picked up an "M" serial.

No CRB

on M serial SD's.
I recently saw two M serial M5 and M6 at local AD and no CRB's.

I picked up a brand new "M" series SD one and a half months ago and there is no inner bezel engraving. Have you mixed up with some other Rolex models?

I have an M series SD. No engraving. I think Rolex's thinking is that engraving would be out of character in a serious professional tool watch like the SD. I would fully agree THis is also the reason why there is no two-tone or diamond studded version to sissifiy the SD.

X2

LOVE my SD, my poor other watches have just been sitting begging to be worn since I have gotten the SD...

Good thing is getting the SD motivated me to send in my DJ to Dallas RSC

Also it is giving me time to get some new bands made for my other watches.

As far as I know, SD don't have a RBR. Rolex is just using the "old" rehaut rings. If there is one released by Rolex, it would be one hot collector's item.
