Got my watch back and it looks too good!

I received my watch back from the AD for it's full service and they did such a great refinishing job I have been afraid to wear it. Still have my sub to keep me company in the meantime.

Give it a few days and you'll be wearing and scratching it up like the rest of us.

Thanks everyone it really is looking brand new again. It wasn't bad before but it had been probably 6 years since it was serviced ,so it's kind of like getting a new watch. Thaaat's super shiny and I'm afraid to wear :-)

Looks fantastic! LOL, I know what you mean. Think next time one of mine goes in I may tell them to leave one scratch untouched when they polish it.

It certainly is a beauty that needs to get aired out. Buckle up and take it for a sail!

Being shiny and smooth is good and all, but I think the fact that the movement is maintained and can run well for another five years helps me sleep at night.

Another 10 years actually, according to the current Rolex recommended service intervals.

Lovely!
Re scratches - look at it this way - it's only ever a polish away from looking that good.
You scratch it - you get it polished. It's that easy.

I guess that's true. I think what it is that I was wearing my 114060 while my YM was at the dealers and the thought of wearing PCL's again well, I just don't know. It got me thinking that the 114060 may actually be, I am going to say it ... the only watch need. Phew there's a month of therapy worked out in one forum post. That said I am still on the fence, I have a hard time letting go.
