Sadly no pickups but definately it crystallised my thoughts on the next watch from PP and the design stage of a very simple 3 hander

What? Come on.

At least give us a line that the salesperson said this or that--I mean how many posts have we seen with 'facts' from the receptionist, whose uncle heard from the post guy who delivers mail to the neighbor of a guy that worked 20 years ago at an AD

More Geneva pics please.

If they wait much longer it's going to be the 41st anniversary.

You have to ask Arnaud.
He certainly had a pillow talk with a well-known all-knowing charming blond lady...

That photo never ceases to make me smile! Maybe now with a 5712, 5167r and 5711 he'd get a warmer reception!

Lapince, while you're in France this week, it would mean a lot to us if you did (and a new pic of her when you ask to see some grand comps)

Any ideas on more independents in Geneva.
A). I am a big fan of Sven Andersen. Couldn't find an AD but went to address in webpage. Ran for the hills. Felt like I was going to get mugged and truly lousy part of town. So didn't even bother going up stairs and whatever else;
B). Lange & Heyne have no AD in Switzerland
C). Moritz Grossman didn't respond to a web enquiry I made
D). FPJ the salon sucks. I am probably not the sort of customer they need although I have nothing but praise for Miami Salon and even emailed FPJ on that experience.
E). Van der Klaaw can't find AD
F). Gronefeld I think is Les Ambassadeur and will try tomorrow.
G). Anyone know where Moinet may have AD couldn't find that

Found the usual suspects de Buthune, urwerk, RM etc. not interest in LF

I know the father of a friend of mine ordered a Moinet, not sure anymore if it was piece unique. Les Ambassadeurs should be able to help you with Moinet but if you want I can PM you my friends email and you can touch base about the whole process and experience. (He used to work for Les Ambassadeurs.) There will very likely be an occasion where you will be able to see the watch in person.
Afaik vd Klaauw has two dealers in Switzerland. I met him in Geneva this year, a colorful character. Your closest one is in Vevey near Montreux.

Oh and there is Armin Strom. But I am not a fan...

I just checked and it was a piece unique with chrono and enamelled dial with a star sky that Moinet made on consignment. Moinet can probably do very interesting things for you.
I can email you a pic, cant post it for privacy reasons.

Karl, if you’re going to visit Les Ambassadeurs, you’ll be able to see some pieces from Bovet – if you don’t plan on visiting the Maison, like I suggested in another thread, seeing as it’s close to Kari’s location.

Yes they had Bovet sadly as I was being driven by Kari couldn't pop into Bovet when in Motier but definitely a brand for me to look into.

I prefer the dial of the 1R, but a full gold watch is too much for me, couldn't wear one
