1966/7 meters first matte
Newbie with first real post as my first attempt failed miserably trying to upload pic.
Anyway as per title it's a meters first with serial number 1553*** and inner case back V1 66. The crown is a service triplock and the bezel insert has also been replaced. It came with a 93150 bracelet. The pics are not great as taken on my phone but hope will give you an idea of condition. Any comments welcome. Bob. image sharing image ru |

Overall appears to be a nice example, with exception the the insert and bracelet as you've already noted. Period correct examples of both components can be easily sourced.
Assuming this 5513 is priced accordingly, I say go for it |

I did look into getting a period insert, would the mk2 long 5 be correct for this watch. If so then they are not exactly cheap are they but if that's what the market dictates then who am I to argue. A few more pics.

The crystal looks like an "incorrect" type for this watch, not a dome or service dome. Dial and hands look like good early matte with the green tinge, this watch would likely be very early matte with those case and case back numbers. The watch does look clean and cared for.
