CHRONO 24 FRAUDSTER Neacsu Bogdan Alexandru

I am posting this as I have been put out of pocket by this scammer advertising a Patek 5980 on chrono 24, please be careful as I am out of pocket by nearly 10,000gbp currently, his name is Neacsu Bogdan Alexandru searching online seems he has done this before. Can any one advise me what I can do?

Sorry to hear that! Try posting in the watchout section near the classifieds. This is where people look for this sort of warning.

How did you get taken for partial payment? Assuming the watch was listed for more than 10k? Would need more info to make any suggestions for possible recourse.

what a pity.

years ago he tried the same thing with me, I met him personally, at the outset he told me he is swiss, later on he said he is greece and on the day he met me, he provided a romania passport.

Then I stood up... Call your bank, credit card agency, police everything you can think of. I had a similar situation with a guy from italian.

All the best,
B

Sorry to hear this again. PayPal or creditcard protection is for now the only way. If that does not work you might go there and hire some muscle.

Because there are some reputable and honest guys and shops selling honest items there.
Its a pity that some a..holes spoil things. They are the root cause of predjudism.

Every tree has some bad apples. Ask Chasseur, see his link about a sick Patek tree...

I am sorry to hear. This is terrible.

I reported this bastard (user Alecs) one month ago on 2 forums and he was banned on both. TZ and Watchnet. He was posting high end watches with pictures from the internet.

This is why you need to buy the seller, not the watch.

PLEASE report him to the police. You must have his address and banking info.

Hi all,

This same guy just tried to screw me over on a 5980R, £13K deposit. If it wasn't for this post and one other post baiting him out then he'd be much more successful than he is. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Has something been worked out?

This guy scammed me out of $5k last week. It was through watchnet, I had a lot of stuff going on that week.....family was in town and anyway, we were emailing back and forth and he said he was a Dr. In Romania and that doctors made very little over there compared to the US. He said he was buying watches in Europe and selling them.

All I saw was that he had posted on watchnet like 8 years ago, I assumed he was legit.

I'm an idiot and was just really busy so I wired him the cash without doing much research, he tried to get me to buy some pateks but I declined wanting to do a smaller deal first.

There you have it. I emailed my bank, I'm sure there is no hope. I just spent an hour and messaged every friend he has on FB so at least they know what a piece of trash he is,
