The movement of my Datejust is not OK
The movement of my Datejust of 1989 does not allow me to give manual rope. It is started if I move it.
What might happen to you? |

It would be very unusual that it would not wind with the crown.
Perhaps it is winding but does not start ticking instantly, which is normal. When winding there is no indication that it is wound or not, and the crown will always turn and not stop like a manual wind watch.

Normal. Sometimes movement is needed to start a watch. Nothing to worry about.

You should be able to wind it with the crown.
It sounds like you may need a service.

Lets hope so as replacement Rolex rope is probably expensive.

Rolex rope is no laughing matter. And this is a great answer to the OP's question, "What might happen to you?".......
