Love the smooth-bezel DJs! Here's my 5.3-mil. Tried this dome out, but returned the top hat.

Would love to get this Day Date someday. Favorite DJ is the 1600 and I'm still kicking myself for not buying a one owner, unpolished gilt dial 1600 a couple of years ago.

datejust nut
i have always been a datejust nut. love them all. however to be on-topic in this thread and respond to the OP's question i gotta say a plastic crystal pie-pan dialed pre-quick-set two-tone with gold colored dial, fluted gold bezel and on a two-toned jubilee is my all time favorite. for some reason they always strike me as pure snazz. if i had to choose only one rolex that would be my all-time favorite!
enjoy your weekend everyone and best wishes from the deep tropics! fred |

My '72 1601 grey dial on vintage leather. Looks great on the jubilee too.

I don't generally play favourites but if its going to be one or the other then it's got to be the DD. BTW amongst current model Rolex watches the ice blue textured dial platinum DD ref 228206 has to be close to the best of the lot. It's the one modern Rolex seriously on my radar. Actually the ref 228238 isn't too shabby either!
