ABC WatchWerks Vs. LA Watch Works????

Hi Guys,

In the market to get some work done to my 5513 sub. New Acrylic, Hand relume, and pearl replacement. I've seen a lot on both of these companies and reached out to both. The prices seem comparable, but I'm really looking for the best to complete the job. Any insight on who to go with will be greatly appreciated?

I recently made two posts about this. Use the search for more details. Both are great and comparable because LA watchworks came from ABC

I think they're both great options. I had an excellent experience with ABC post-split.

ABCWW and LAWW are both outstanding options. Alex at ABC is the original godfather of casework, and Beau continues his expertise at his new location. You can't go wrong!

Yes!...they used to be my go-to watch service shop when I lived in LA and for several years after I moved out-of-state. Are they not what they used to be?

Did they have a smooth split/transition? Or was there drama due to the unavoidable competition?

I worked with Beau at ABC and twice now at LAWW. Always professional, prompt and does a great job. I personally use LAWW now

I agree. Both are good, but I go where Beau goes based on work he has done on cases in the past that I thought were ready for the dumpster.

These guys have so much demand. I don't think either is hurting for work based on service time quotes.

the place has changed a great deal: Sol Meller passed away, the shop is moving in a different direction, the service people are not the greatest....
