Here's my "core four." (Yes, not three but I always sucked at math). While it's fun to think of a full YG bluesy sub or a Platona, I feel pretty damn good with these.

OK, I'll play. Since it's physically impossible for me to name 3, I'll break it down into categories (kind of cheating, I know).

Vintage:

Red Sub
1655
PN Daytona

Modern (PM)

YG Sub, bluesy
WG GMT
Plat. Daytona

Modern (steel)

Sub LV/LVc/SD D-Blue (see, can't make a decision )
EXP2
Ceramic Daytona

I guess its time to trade that GMT in for the platona. And the diamond dial is the way to go.

My current three after pairing down. When my boys are older one gets the Explorer and the other gets the BLNR. When that happens I'm getting a Platinum Day Date and rotating that with the 16710 that I bought new over twenty years ago.

It'll take some time before I can mentally grasp dropping that kind of money. But yes, one day I will will have to have it
