Not really... You will need a new date wheel for starters, otherwise the date window will fall halfway between two numbers.

And I don't know if the dial feet are symmetrical for the new movement, they were for the ETA.

It's a limited edition because they know it's a limited market so they hyped it up with that marketing claim.

there is a number but is it a LE ?
Could just be a number just like every Rolex has a serial number between the lugs

In 2020 you'll buy case back number 9757 or 13426 or .... ?

So does this mean I can wear my blue pelagos on the left and this on my right? Probably not. I think it looks neat, but I was hoping for a matte red bezel and dial.

So this was it. Not bad, but the destro crown seriously limits its market.

Anyway, not for me.

Always nice to have options but IMHO, Tudor should have just released this reference as a surprise vs a tease campaign better suited for a more exotic all new reference.

While not a reason to throw a party, I do like it and would actually consider buying a pelagos now.

So judging by the responses so far it's not positive. Tudor testing the market with a limited supply. Looks like an instant classic to me in the making. Don't think they will do another destro after this one. Just my opinion

I'm left-handed and wear watches on my right hand. I prefer the crown being on the right as it keeps it out of the way. Would've thought righties would appreciate this feature. There seems to be no good reason to have the crown on the left for a left-handed person that I can see, just gets in the way. In fact the crown position is the only thing that slightly puts me off, how ironic!

agree 100%not a bad watch but after all the teasers my expectations were MUCH bigger than a little modification on an existing model

I think most of us had already predicted a destro pelagos with red accents.
I like it for a niche market, should do really well. A nice bit of diversity in the range for a limited run. Can't fault Tudor for giving it a go and seeing how it does.
Now excited to see what Basel 2017 has in store for Tudor.

My exact thoughts as well. I like being a lefty, no wrist bite.

I don't get who this watch is aimed at; lefties or righties wanting a destro design. Seems really limited.

I have to say, cracks me up how the damn bezel insert isn't aligned on that example in the pics. I always complain about it but it's almost come to just be how Rolex inserts are. Always one or two ticks to the right. I feel like whoever is assembling them has an astigmatism.

I dont have a pelagos yet... Always been on the fence with the pelagos. I'll have to see it in person to , but right now my choices were the Explorer (2016), wait for the Daytona, or branch out for this piece (JLC or AP)... Was hoping that this would be a top contender. May still be when i see it in person.

Don't recall whose IG post it was they said that is the color of the lume plots and hands. But John Mayer just commented on Russell Kelly's IG post from this morning. But I am sure he already had his. And I bet it is a really low number.
