Some wear their watch loose, more like a bracelet. I don't understand it, especially in a watch meant for activity, but to each his/her own.

I don't understand why people wear bracelet watches tight. As for the Pelagos, I'm not interested at this time in another diver, but I certainly do like both the Pelagos and the Black Bay. As for where the crown in placed, it's not an issue for me. I don't use the crown with the watch on my wrist anyway.

I really like it, but I just feel like the red text and aged lume would be a better fit on something from the heritage line.
I think it's my favorite Pelagos availbale, and if I were in the market for a Pelagos already, this would be the one. It isn't really different enough for the Pelagos to jump up on my list of must buy, but I've always toyed with the idea of picking up a Pelagos someday. Still think I would prefer the black bay black, and if I were to buy a Pelagos, I still might just save some money and buy the cleaner 2-liner. |

Red text+creamy lume+roulette wheel should have a cyclops, IMO. I would probably fit one if (or when) I bought this.

I really like it and being that I wear my watches on my right hand, I am very interested. Only thing is I'm afraid that it'll wear big on my 6.5" wrists. Therefore, probably have to see it in person before I commit.

Tudor continues to be the innovative arm of Rolex S.A.
the red line/date and the buff hour markers/hands really help the Pelagos' otherwise monochromatic look. |

No comments about the 5 lines of type. People seem to have gotten used to it--remember it was a big issue when they moved from the ETA to the in-house version.
Not for me, but good on Tudor for freshening up the lineup mid-year after Basel.

I voted 'other'. I don't 'have to have it', but it's an attractive and purpose driven watch, IMO, and it'll be sought after in 20 or 30 years, I'm sure.
I didn't read all the posts, so forgive me if this was already mentioned, but I recall James Dowling owning a Sea-Dweller, I believe it was a 16660 that was that way from the factory in that configuration, years ago now. It may have been a prototype, or something, I just don't recall the details now. It's unique and there aren't too many 'destro' divers out there, just a small hand full of generally well regarded brands have made them this way.

Its not a bad looking watch but I agree with previous comments, the Pelagos in general looks very plasticky. That combined with the fake patina just looks kind phony to me.

Looks great. I like the vanilla/beige lume color on bezel and matching dial, a nice change from chicklet white, 42 mm but mostly titanium so likely a nice weight. Love the red accents! Lume shots look really good.

Not bad,
but it would be a better move to reduce size of the watch to 40mm. Sadly, I'm affraid this won't be possible because the movement size. |

Darn. Explorer II Polar and now this -- both great looking watches, but both too big for my 17 cm wrist
