Hi guys I have a 14000 with a sapphire crystal is it possible to swap it for a mineral crystal ?

Cannot see why anyone would want to swap a sapphire crystal for a mineral one, sapphire is far more scratch resistant than mineral.

Not sure what this comment means. The OP is referring to the sapphire crystal. I guess technically the crystal is a ceramic. But as far as the OP's question, since it's original to the watch, and tougher than mineral glass why change it? Also, did Rolex ever use mineral glass? I thought their crystals were all plexiglass until the switch to synthetic sapphire.

Sorry I mean plexiglass I just prefer the look of the plexiglass and wondered if it was possible
