My fist was a 16710 coke bezel in 1997 which I was more than happy with until 2012 when I spotted the 114060 in the window of an AD.
I flipped the GMT coke earlier this year to help fund my LVC because I never wore it. No regrets so far. |

Got my first as a wedding gift from from my wife. 116200, perfect starter and I'll have it forever.
Fast forward five years and I figured she should have one. Looked on TRF and thanks to Mailman and Tempo, she has one. So I guess you could say that her watch no longer made me a one watch guy. Fast forward to about six months ago, I got a decent bonus and I felt like I earned it. Have been looking for an Air King Date on two tone oyster. Hard to come by. But my buddy Tempo had a cool 1500 Date that was/is virtually the same. I have three sons and I'd like to gift a Rolex to each of them some day so I know I'm not stopping here.

Wore a GMT II exclusively for about 8 years and then bought a Speedmaster Professional.

What Watch Caused You To Abandon Your "One-Watch Guy" Status?
I was a happy one watch guy with my Sub C and then this little fella came along.
A birth year DJ quickly followed suit. |
