Photobucket has come back to bite me...

Anyone else facing issues with Photobucket? I can log in to view my pictures and get links, but as soon as I try to upload anything, I am redirected to login page. This has been like this for two weeks now, and I've finally sent an email to their support team, in hopes of getting this resolved soon.

Photobucket has been having issues for the last month or so , links that don't work , ads popping up constantly before being able to copy a link etc

I thought it was fixed now but apparently not :)

Lucky it's free or I'd be mad

Photobucket sucks. The amount of pop ups, redirects and freezing website has made me rarely want to post pics. Too much of a hassle.

I think the Russian mafia owns Photobucket now.

They certainly think that negative reinforcement will get users to pay up.

x2 What is alternative.

PB has been impossible to work with over past month or so. Pop up city, can't edit photos, basic nightmare. I'd rather pay and have something that works.

I only used it for simple storage of my watch pictures, it was easy to use the url and post the pics here.

Now I only use Instagram and copy the url to my posts to embed them.

Agreed, the site is terribly slow because of all these ads and pop-ups.

Imgur s an alternative. I've used it a little bit for a non-watch forum.

I just used Photobucket to post to WRUW and it was faster than it has been and it didn't lock up my browser as it has usually done.

There were no fewer ads, but at least it didn't take fifteen minutes to use the site.

Maybe it's improving.

Apart from PB, I also use Flickr. However, I tend to use it as a bit of a portfolio and only upload high quality images there. That said, PB was quick and easy to use, with enough scripts to help make it copy and paste to post on forums/message boards. With Flickr, I have the flexibility of sharing pics in higher resolution.

I've not used imgur and tinypic before, but may have to try them out at some point if PB doesn't sort their issues.

Easy solution, buy a URL and host your own pics. Am so very surprised people still trust these other services when having you own site/URL is incredibly inexpensive nowadays.

For 'throw away' pics PostImage works.

PB has been having constant problems and I'm a paying member. I reamed out management and told them to get their act in order.

Yep, it has been problematic for well over a year now. Clumsy to use, and a terrible interface has really sent it downhill with every update that comes along...

Still having problems with Photobucket. I keep getting pop-ups and I am not able to close them. This makes PB unusable as I have to totally close it down.

Anyone figure out a solution yet?

Same issue last night. I had to click on a picture, and it then redirected me to the "old style" pages and uploading worked fine then. but every time I tried to upload from the front page it redirected me to log in again.

Yep, PB is still broken. I have my own domain, but using it to post pics on a public forum like this takes up too much bandwidth. I've found a (very silly) walkaround to my PB issue - I upload pics via iPhone (through their mobile app) and then get the links from their website (if and when it does load).

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but it works!
