Oyster Quartz
I have owned, enjoyed and collected Rolex watches since 1965. My first one. Bought in the PX in Saigon. Several months ago I bought my last Rolex. An oyster quartz 19019, Day-Date in 18 k White Gold. Dates from late 1979 to early 1980. At present, in addition to my day-date I have a 17013 two-tone and a 17014 18 k w.g. bezel and ss. I also have a 14060M COSC non-date sub. I like OQ's. New to this forum.

Welcome. Would love to see a pic of the 19019. I like the OQ also. Such a unique watch and rarely seen in the wild.

Thanks for the kind words of welcome. I know that I will have some comments in the future. When I find out how to post a picture I will.

You will enjoy it I'm sure. The 17000 has a different style bracelet from the two other OQ's. As the first OQ produced it was not sent for COSC certification, therefore the first early models do not bear that inscription on the dial. You'll see both non-COSC and COSC only in the 17000.
