Thanks! Love listening to mr Bennahmias.
Audemars is doing so well now, it's quite an achievement to not follow the negative trend a lot of other brands are seeing.

Well, he just told us why our British members cannot find much in the way of in-demand watches in the UK. Watch brands are just trickling them in!

Excellent interview. Thanks for sharing.

He clearly understands economics, marketing to the affluent, and the meaning of luxury and exclusivity

I watched it again...

what struck me especially was the story that it was a 28 year old silicon valley "tech guy / tech founder" who bought one... and then the comment by Francois-Henry Bennahmias...

"Don't go smartwatches because that makes watches stupid, and they are far from being stupid."

Nice video. That's for Sharing.

It's direct from the horses mouth on the company direction and 40k productions a year.

Yes, to quote him exactly: "Average price is in the forty thousand-range right now and we are making only forty thousand..."

The comment about smart watches is a bit confusing since AP isn't a mass market consumer product but the wearables are...in other words no threat to AP.

The 40,000 that will get into stores will be bought by people who could afford both - and based on demand, could afford many AP's + SW's
