Some people are more predatory than others. It may make some squeamish. But Supply and Demand drives the opportunity to profit - perhaps the title "Best Steals" created a bias. Best Deals is apt, though.

Picked up my 1999 basically unworn/flipped sub used for a little over 2k back in 2000. New they were 3k.

Bought my 116610 LN from a friend of a friend who was getting divorced for 5,500 in Mint condition. Bought my Pepsi 16710 for 3,500 about 6 years ago. Bought my 1680 sub at age 15 for 980 dollars with tax bringing it to a little over a thousand.

A couple of years back, I picked up a NOS early 2000's 114270 off CL locally, all boxes and papers for $1,200; flipped it for more than double in a couple days.
