The stamp is advertising that they've sold their products to British royalty. I've seen the stamp on a few other things (like Barbour jackets)

'99 Cristal for the wife and myself at the stroke of midnight. I did share it with some good friends of ours who were hosting a benefit party we attended.

Happy 2017 to all of us here!

Returned to my apartment in HK and found this on the table. A note explained that building mgmt had left it as a gift. Drinking now -- better than I expected

Louis Roederer is an excellent champagne producer. That should have been tasty. Nice gift.

Better check and make sure they didn't steal your Rolex magazines while they wer at it

Roederer is pretty good though. They didnt have it at the liquor store I went to. Most carry hype labels from what I've seen. Dom, Ace, Cristal, and Moet seem to be everywhere. But good bottles in the 50- $75 range seem to be scarce.

Dom Perignon is my all time favourite champagne. Only have it for those very special occasions. Mostly drink Veuve.

This year was somewhat different....

We hosted an afternoon NYE party for ten 17 month olds plus parents. Was certainly very different from what we're used to and very little alcohol consumed at all. Fast asleep for 11.00
