Smurf for DD40 ?
I currently have a smurf but love the new day date 40 in WG. Which would you prefer ? Also think of trading my ROO 26470st black/red and my TT GMTII ceramic with some cash towards the DD40. Any thoughts if this would be a good trade decision ? Or should I just trade the smurf and some cash ?

I think the smurf and dd40 make a great pair if that's what you like. Not a fan of ap or two-tone so easy decision

I'd trade the AP and GMT plus cash toward the DD40. Then you have a great pair with lots of versatility.

Keep the Sub. Flip the other 2 plus cash.
Which DD40 are you looking at? I agree with Ken that the green dial is amazing.. |

The DD40 blue is amazing. Although all the blue dials Rolex makes are nice that one really stands out. Not an AP fan so I personally would keep the Sub and trade off the rest. DD40 and any sub would make a perfect combination.

I would keep the Smurf and add the DD 40. Trade the other watches and enjoy a great two watch collection.

I like smurf and DD 40 combo. May be an issue with both blue dials though. Rhodium?

I'd keep the smurf and trade the ROO and GMT to get the DD40. They would make an amazing pair...

Keep the Sub trade the AP and GMT. Get the WG 40 with a green or black dial.

I'm going to agree with all those who support keeping the smurf and trading the others toward the DD. What a resulting pair that would be!
I probably wouldn't do the blue dial since the smurf has that covered...Ken's suggestion of the green would definitely be toward the top of the list for me. But hey, picking out what you want is half the fun. |

Keep the 116619 and add the DD40, no question.
I gotta post this picture any time I can While I think the WG/blue dial is amazing, with the 116619 I'd look at either the green Romans or the rhodium stripe. Let us know what you decide! |

Smurf for DD40 ?
Trade the AP and two tone towards the DD40. I would swing for the fences and go platinum, though.
Not mine yet, but I have my eyes on one of these. P.S. Probably the one on the right ...

I'd look at it over the blue but like blue better than silver dial.

I agree that green dial WG DD40 is something else. I love the ice blue platinum romans DD40 but would take the WG instead and leave ~$20,000 in my pocket.

Gotta say this a great shout from Stephen, this ice blue dial is stunning even if the price is quite scary . As you have the Smurf I'd also go with Ken's green dial on the WG rather than blue, think white is a bit too plain on white metal.
