And now a few pics of the park itself!

It just snowed when I arrived for white winter scenery.

Nice! Zion is high on my list of National Parks to see. So far, I've seen 19 of them- most of the East Coast ones, and most of the Alaskan ones, with Yellowstone, Teton, Rocky, and the NM/TX ones thrown in as well. Near as I can figure, it's gonna take a month to do Southern Utah the justice it deserves. Might have to break that up into two trips. Thank you for sharing your adventure!

Rocky Mountain and Yellowstone are hard to beat, but Grand Canyon, Zion, and Yosemite are right there. Unfortunately they're also some of the most crowded. A good tip for Zion is go in mid-December and you'll have the place almost literally to yourself.

Beautiful! And I was just mentioning to a friend how we should go see the snow at Zion. Absolutely love the explorer 2 as well. I'm on the fence between the white and black.
Is the second picture at the top of angels landing trail?
