BLNR for me, although a Daytona would be nice I just can't be bothered with chasing one

I had the same choice about 2 weeks ago and went BLNR. No regrets.

Although I really love GMT Batman, I still choose Day C white first.

This is probably heresy, but had the BLNR but it just didn't do it for me, so flipped it for a TT Sub with Blue Dial and bezel

I still want to try a Daytona but had I had that opportunity at this point I would surely be able to give you an answer.

Depends what you're after in a watch?
I take readability of the GMT over and above any chrono all day long, whether it's a Daytona or not.

Given the original question I'd go Daytona White Face C. Simply because I think both are great but the Daytona is so much harder to get. If you have the connections then go for it... I don't, so didn't!

A lot of people on here are saying BLNR just because they cannot get a DaytonaC.

Get the Daytona, if you don't like it you can always get out of it and get the BLNR

It's lived up to all the hype and then some IMHO. It will not disappoint. I'd be patient and go for the Daytona. Good luck. Sorry for throwing the sub in the pic (it's the only pic I have of the 500 and BLNR)

Nice shot, Doc

I chose the GMTIIc LN over the previous SS Daytona, but I still think it is a pretty piece.

The ceramic is even better, and maybe pushes it ahead despite the GMT function is actually useful to me. In white I'm twitching the wallet open...

However, add the blue of the BLNR and I'm out. Daytona wins with ease. I don't like blue. It's... Boring. Com'on Coke

I love my black GMTII.
in this case, since it is the ceramic Daytona, I will choose the ceramic Daytona.

it is just a hassle to chase down one. I have only bought one Rolex so I do not think I have a relationship with the Rolex AD.

Assuming you can get Daytona at MSRP, otherwise the question doesn't make any sense. I will get Daytona flip it. Pocket the difference and buy BLNR
