Chances of locating a BNIB or LNIB 15707CE
Be easy on an AP newbie! So nearly stepped into AP with a 15400 but decided against it for various reasons but mainly not a fan of them once they have picked up a few marks!
So here I am again trying to get an AP into the fold. Toyed with the idea of getting a Ceramic diver a year or so ago but at the time it would of meant selling off most of my collection, well this isn't the case now but guess as it's discontinued sourcing one is going to be the issue. |

Maybe grab 44mm instead and wait for the new SIHH release?
Not sure what your question is exactly, but if it's will 15707 will hard to source...no. Just depends on what you want to pay, THEN that answer may change. |

I've reached out to a couple of people I've dealt with and none have any available, the ceramic was never sold in the U.K so my only avenue would be through a connection on here or chrono24 (which I not a fan of)
To be totally honest most of the AP collection is out of my price range, looking at low 20's so 22-23 which would still require one of my current collection going but not over stretching myself. SIHH has sparked some interest however I do prefer the feel of the 42mm over the 44mm Not a fan of the new ceramic ROO much prefer the older model but then I do really like the Ti, issue here is that would be stretch for me unfortunately. |

New Ti 44 is only $30k retail which means you might be able to get at $24k with good relationship...which puts right in your budget. What is not ideal is the wait time. Certainly something to think about. Can't go wrong with any of your choices. |

Happy hunting. I got my 15707 at the end of last year and it didn't come cheap... but it was LNIB but it's one or maybe the last one made (I have done extensive research and got the individual numbers for many pieces). Hope you find one, I love mine

If you don't mind me asking what did you pay, as being in the UK ideally I'd like to source one from the EU

Well I ain't selling mine, that's sure, but contact the adds and serious grey dealers saying you want one, maybe you'll be lucky, about new it's ceramic so they should look new even if not, but I think it will be expensive getting one, few made and people seem to wanna keep them. Good luck

20k GBP. Or maybe not 100% true, I got a very good trade in on a Rolex DD. I maybe overpaid, but it spoke to me and I just had to have it.

Official Watches and Luxe Watches plus WF ofc are the biggest dealers in used APs so I'd keep in touch with them, maybe a LNIB condition one will turn up.

I am surprised AP is not continuing the ceramic diver. I'd love one with blue in the dial instead of orange.

This is a watch which I knew would cost more after some time, low production and high demand from the start

Maybe look at a 44 FC for that price range pre-owned?

Ceramic ROO is an option and so is the new Ti model but the price is slightly out of my range and I do prefer the over look of the 42mm diver without the pushers and increased case size! Quote:

How did you managed the refund as you are in France and if I'm right purchased it from the Paris Boutique? |

Moving forward and so different AP advice, quoting US as that where I've got most of the info from
The current ceramic ROO hasn't been listed as discontinued and retails at around $42,000 but can be from TS's for around $32,000 BNIB Now the newly released ceramic ROO (which I'm not keen on) is listed to be at a retail of $32,100 Do you think the current version will be discontinued or even reduced in price as it seem odd AP would sell two variants of the same model priced $10,000 apart? Or am missing something?! |

Wait the old ceramic is at retail 42k, which is too much IMHO, shouldn't cost 20 more than the CE diver, and the new one is at 32k? How is that even possible???

Lapince, it is worth it. Keep in mind not only is the 44mm ROO case size larger, it's a chrono as well.
