I just traded my black face Daytona I found it impossible to read the time in low light situations there was way to much going on with the Chrono dials then again I'm getting old and the eyes aint what they use to be. I'm thinking the white face might have been easier!

Sub for me. But I prefer Subs over any watch.

I lean of course towards the Daytona, but the no-date Sub is a classic!

Sorry, I couldn't resist. That said, I have and love a 114060 and am on the waiting list for the new 116500. I'm going for the white dial version.

For me these two and the black GMTc are all really similar so I could happily have any of them.

Both are icons. The Daytona is the hottest watch Rolex makes at the moment. The Submariner, on the other hand, is just too classic. You can't go wrong. I'd get the Submariner first, add the Daytona with a white dial down the road.
