I have definitely seen that before. The smell gets much worse. It can be raked up with a tractor and loaded out on a dump truck, but someone needs to work it pretty quickly. They may decide to wait for the sea to reclaim it.

Have you changed your bookings yet?

Yeah, cutting it by two days.

Man, that's a drag. I'm sorry it's messing up your trip.

I'm due there in two months. It should be cleared up by then, yes?

Don't want to bring your spirits down, but I wouldn't bet on it. Unless the sea reclaims it. But there's by my estimate hundreds if not thousands of tons of it.

Tomorrow, extending the stay in FL. Want me to bring you anything?

No, I appreciate the honesty. I won't be on Seven Mile Beach, but on the cove just above Hedonism II (at Couples). I wonder how widespread the damage is.

I think Couples will be OK.

Thanks. I appreciate the input. Again, I'm sorry your vacation got bollocksed up. Enjoy Florida, at least.

Also, thanks for the pictures. I've been forwarding them to my g/f, and she's enjoyed them (at least the ones before the trouble).

Yeah. There are two Couples resorts in Negril - one is on Seven Mile Beach. The other is on Bloody Bay. We're staying in the one on Bloody Bay. Never been to an all-inclusive before. My g/f and I really wanted the experience, and Negril sounded like a great place for it.

I never thought I'd say this, but Negril/Bloody Bay might just be The Place for an all inclusive. Especially if you want to have a little fun in the evening. Reeeaally quiet here after 8-9pm, and walking basically alone out at night on dark streets with a 25K watch on my wrist isn't exactly giving me confidence.

We have only experienced good things though, besides the darn sea grass invasion.
