Icon12 Standing in line at Costco. Pics inside

This guy sees that I'm looking at my watch and asks,"what time is it?"

So I show him my watch and say, "I don't know but it looks good right..."

He gave me a funny look, looked closer and said Oh, that's a ROLEX!

After that he, like I, didn't seem to be concerned with the time...

Same here but an occasional 'flick of the wrist' (exposing the watch dial) to show someone the time itself is not unusual. Best performed with a cheaper watch brand so's not to attract unnecessary attention.

I thought it was hilarious.

Only a true WIS can be caught staring at their watch and be asked for the time and not have a clue what time it is. Haha.

What did you buy at Costco? See any Rolex in the watch case?
Unusual to see a California guy in flannel shirts? Is it cold out there?

did you get one of those big hot dogs for $2? that was the only time i'd put raw onion on a hot dog - they had that dispenser that would roll raw onions out.

so OP, did you eat lunch too?

My wife sees that I'm looking at this thread and asks,"what is it?"

So I show her the thread and say, "I don't know but it looks absurd right..."

She gave me a funny look, looked closer and said Oh, thats strange!

After that she, like I, didn't seem to be concerned with the thread.

There's some rather harsh criticism in this thread.

Here's a little phrase that's worked well for me over the years: "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

Nice pics, Sam.
